Originally hailing from Michigan’s Detroit area, Matthew Konchel left his student life at the University of Michigan behind to gleefully enlist as a paratrooper with the U.S. Army’s "All-American” 82nd Airborne Division. He is a Persian Gulf War veteran, having served during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield as an intelligence analyst overseeing classified information collection, management, and dissemination in the Division G2.
Once discharged, Matthew worked in the business offices of Fortune 500 company United Parcel Service before moving to Pennsylvania to attend Temple Law School. Matthew thereafter worked for six years as the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs for Temple University and then eighteen years as the managing attorney of a successful mid-sized litigation-focused law practice before ultimately founding the boutique firm of Konchel and Associates in beautiful downtown Downingtown, PA, where he currently practices estate planning and business law.
Matthew is and has been married to his high school sweetheart for more than three decades, is the father of two beautiful Downingtown West high school graduates and is proficiently fluent in movie quotes and music lyrics.
