Coloring Contest 2023 - 2024
The VFW Department of Pennsylvania sponsors a patriotic coloring contest for children in school grades 2 - 5. Downingtown VFW Post 845 will select a winner and forward it to the district that in turn selects winners that were submitted by other posts and submit those winners to the state. The state selects four winners -- one for each grade -- and awards a certificates and cash prizes of $50.
Schools will send their entries to their local VFW post. Posts and Districts will set their own deadlines. The dateline for entries to the state is 8 March, 2024. The theme of the 2023 -2024 contest is The Statue of Liberty. Official entry forms can be downloaded by clicking here.
