Sat. May 3 — Day of Service

 Across the globe, the 2025 Day of Service launches on May 3. As a part of the VFW’s #StillServing campaign, the Day of Service aims to unite VFW members to illustrate to the world the positive impact they make in their communities. VFW Post 845 will mark that kickoff date by sponsoring a blood drive at the Downingtown Post from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veteran, social members, and the general public are invited to participate and to help save a life by donating precious blood. Weekend entertainment

Our weekend entertainment will be from 7 to 11 for Friday night DJs and from 7 to 11 for Saturday night bands. The public is invited. Non-members are subject to a cover charge.

Open Mic Night a big success,

now planned for every second Thursday

The first Open Mike Night on April 25 was hailed as a great success. Host Brian Yocum of TinnAngel RockBand will organize the program featuring local talent the second Thursday night of each month. For more information about Open Mic click here.
