June 14 — Flag Retirement Ceremony

The post will honor Flag Day by holding a "flag retirement ceremony” on the post grounds when area scout troops will join veterans in the burning of old and tattered American flags in a respectful manner. The public is invited to attend the outdoor ceremony.

 June 29 — Golf Tournament

VFW Post 845 annual golf tourney is set for June 29 at Applecross Country Club, Downingtown. Sign up at the post or send registration form via mail. Fees: $70 for veteran and BHA members, $140 non-members. Check-in at the course begins 8 a.m.; shotgun start 9:30; meal and raffle at post 2:30 p.m. Click here for more details.

Weekend entertainment

Our weekend entertainment will feature DJs on Friday nights from 7 to 11 and live bands on Saturday nights from 7 to 11.  The public is invited. Non-members are subject to a cover charge.
