Illustrating the VFW motto, "No One Does More for Veterans,” two female veterans of Post 845 recently made the Christmas season a little happier for female veterans residing at the Coatesville Veterans Administration Medical Center.
On December 19, US Army veterans Vanessa Barron, Post 845 Junior Vice Commander, and fellow member Bonnie Webb visited six female patients at the medical center and treated them to a luncheon and presented each patient with a Christmas gift bag with items to help fulfill each patient’s individual wish list. The luncheon and gifts were purchased by Post 845. The center’s recreation therapist, Alexis Workman helped coordinate the project.
