On Saturday, Dec. 2, the kitchen staff at VFW Post 845 prepared  a special luncheon for patients at the Coatesville VA Medical Center that was transported and served by Post members and VAMC staff. Post Commander Ernie Griffith said he was glad to see his post resume activity at the Medical Center after a hiatus due to Covid because it symbolized what his post is all about -- "Veterans helping veterans."

 

Between 30 and 40 patients enjoyed the substantial luncheon and desserts, voicing their appreciation for the tasty meal.
